Drawing Emotions
Today I drew some emotions. I have a scared face and a silly face.
Coming Home
Today I did a piece of artwork inspired by Johannes Vermeer. The theme was coming home . This piece of artwork shows most of the characters off Winnie-the-Pooh Crossing a bridge. The usual colours of these characters haven't been used because those characters represent family members .I also didn't put the usual colours on them because everyone is unique and different so I wanted to show that in my work . I feel at home when all m familey is home aswell.I have little details in my work like a book lying in the grass and a boat going down the Stream because I feel most comfortable when I am sailing boats down the stream or a creek and when I get read book or get told a storie .I have so many great memories of them that's why I put them in. I hope you like my work as this took a long time to make because I use pens instead of paint .

Sea Week Poem
Sea Week Poem
An eel hides behind a rough rock
Fish start to flee like a flying flock
Sea birds dive deeply
Like yellow bees in a honey hive
Trying to get fish from behind.
Driftwood drifts back to sea
Wood turns around at every degree.
Morning begins as birds fly sharply south
trying to fly into the sea mouth.

Physical Activity and Screen Time
Physical Activity and Screen Time
WALT carry out a statistical investigation following the statistical inquiry cycle.
Problem
Lily and myself (Billie) wondered how many students in room 8 balance their screen time with physical activity. We surveyed 5 girl year eights and 5 boy year eights so we would be unbiased.
Plan
Lily and myself used google forms to plan our investigation. Something I struggled with was when we had to make a question go to another page. I also struggled with the layout because I was new to google forms.
Data
From the 20 people we surveyed 90% of them do balance the screen times and 10% don't. Of the people who said they didn't balance the screen time with physical activity here are some of the reasons why they didn't. They don't play any sport or do any outdoor activity, they can't be bothered and they don't do as much sport as gaming. Our data shows that 90% of the people we surveyed balance their screen time by going outside sports etc…
From the 10% that said they don't balance their screen time with physical activity ,we asked some way they could keep it balanced and they said they could do more sport and someone doesn't know what he could do.
One shows that people balance their physical activity with screen time by going outside and having restricted time on their devices.
Conclusion
I (Billie) was a little bit unhappy with the results because I feel that the people we surveyed may have been dishonest. My recommendation for the parents/caregivers of the people that were surveyed with the answer of not balancing screen time would be to try to encourage them to go outside or to play some sport.
