Shadow Ball Tag

Week Two PE Challenge: The current rules around COVID19 isolation and ‘bubbles’  mean that many sports people have been unable to play their sport. This week I want you to design a game that can be played with two or more players but does not allow players to share any equipment being used. You need to develop a name, rules, playing area, equipment, and the object of the game.

Shadow Ball Tag

The game that I made up is called ‘Shadow Bull tag’.  For this game you don’t need
to use any equipment.

How you play
Two teams are needed, there has to be at least two in each team.

Preferably a sunny day so that lots of shadows are around.

When you stand on someone else’s shadow then they are out.  They then have to sit
on the bench until the person that got them out gets tagged out and has to go to the bench.

Rules

Everytime you get someone out then your team gets a point. The first team that gets to ten
points then that team wins. It relies on honesty as it may be difficult to turn and to look at your
own shadow. You can play this on the grass or a court, where there is preferably not a lot of other
object shadows so that you can see the people that are playing shadow’s easily.

Banksy Art

Learning Challenge was to: Create a small artwork, no bigger that 5cm high x 5cm wide to put somewhere around your property… do NOT draw on the walls! Do your artwork on a separate piece of paper or wood. Take a photo of your artwork in location for your blog.

We are learning to: Develop ideas by developing and revisiting visual ideas, in response

to examples we have seen, and ideas that we can think of for ourselves.
